The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI)  has graduated about 73 entrepreneurs from this year’s mentoring programme. These mentored entrepreneurs would embrace collaborations and sustainable business growth practices.

The LCCI President, Michael Okewale Cole said  at the graduation ceremony that the chamber would continue to create more number of youth savvy about setting up industries on their own as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). This, he said, would boost the Small and Medium Enterprise (SMEs) sector in the country..

The mentoring programme lasted for more than one year and the graduates were well-groomed in both theory and practice.  It was also told to the graduates to choose partners from their own teammates for setting up new ventures. For that,  LCCI is preparing a list of alumni, which will help the graduates to zero in the  business partner based on commonality of interest and aptitude. Part of the programme was conducted online because of the pandemic.  A total of 175 entrepreneurs were enrolled initially to undergo the course. Of that, 73 have  successfully completed the course.
