India’s Mahindra to open a new warehouse in South Africa

· Mahindra South Africa, a subsidiary of one of the largest automobile companies headquartered in India has opened a new national parts warehouse in South Africa

· This is larger than the already existing facility of the company in that country. Mahindra vehicles are being sold in South Africa in record numbers, according to the company sources

· The increased demand for its products and larger number of franchises and dealers has induced the company to open larger warehouses

Mahindra South Africa, a subsidiary of one of the largest automobile companies headquartered in India has opened a new national parts warehouse in South Africa. This is larger than the already existing facility of the company in that country. Mahindra vehicles are being sold in South Africa in record numbers, according to the company sources. The increased demand for its products and larger number of franchises and dealers has induced the company to open larger warehouses.

The new warehouse is equipped with state-of-the –art technology that can track the inventories on a real time basis. The new warehouse can supply to the demand destinations in record time, much faster than what it has been doing earlier. Being situated at the sidelines of three major highways helps the new warehouse to cater to destinations much faster. The warehouse has been on trial operation since November 2020.
