The Moroccan Retail Tech Builder (MRTB), a Venture Builder in Morocco and Africa, dedicated to the digitalization of commerce, supported 100 startups in the commerce sector.

Established in 2021, the venture provides startups with the essential resources and guidance needed to develop their solutions. Led by a partnership between the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, and the OCP Foundation, the Moroccan Retail Tech Builder has emerged as a pioneering force in the nation’s drive towards digital commerce and entrepreneurship development.

Through initiatives like the Corporate Reputation Pulse study conducted in partnership with consulting firms Integrate Consulting and THOTH Consulting, the platform aims to enhance the reputation and visibility of Moroccan businesses on a global scale.

With the support of new partners such as Plug and Play, M2T, Al Barid Bank, Visa, and Glovo, the platform is poised to expand its impact and accelerate the growth of the Moroccan startup ecosystem. Despite the overall pro-market ecosystem in Morocco, startups continue to face several challenges.
