The sixth Africa Business Forum will be held in Addis Ababa on February 20, 2023. The theme of the forum is “Making Carbon Markets Work for Africa”. African political leaders, representatives of the African Union Commission, private sector companies interested in the development of carbon markets, civil society organizations, international finance organizations, and development partners will participate in the forum.
The sixth Africa Business Forum will be held in Addis Ababa on February 20, 2023. The theme of the forum is “Making Carbon Markets Work for Africa”. African political leaders, representatives of the African Union Commission, private sector companies interested in the development of carbon markets, civil society organizations, international finance organizations, and development partners will participate in the forum.
The Africa Business Forum started in 2018 and is organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and African Export-Import Bank. The participants of the forum will discuss fighting climate change using carbon marketing tools and developing the African economy by increasing investment in the sector, particularly by the private sector.

The themes of the previous editions of the Forum were as follows: investment in 2018; health in 2019; investing in people, the planet and prosperity in 2020; innovative finance to build towards the Sustainable Development Goals in 2021; and investing in multimodal transport and tourism infrastructure to optimize the benefits of the African Continental Free Trade Area in 20
