Zimbabwe is working out modalities for working with Mozambican companies to capitalize on the experience of the latter in implementing state-of-the-art industries for the production of electrical cables.

This idea was mooted in Maputo recently by Zimbabwe’s President Emmerson Mnangagwa during his visit to the Electric Cable Factory in Beluluane Industrial Park, Maputo province. The Zimbabwean president’s visit was a great opportunity for the province to showcase its potential.

The factory supplies electrical cables to Europe, Africa, and SADC countries, in addition to meeting the domestic demand. The factory that produces electrical cables, among other things, has a huge export potential and is considered one of the well-run companies in Mozambique.
