Zambian Trade and Industry Minister Chipoka Mulenga said the recent edition of the Agricultural and Commercial Show gave  the country an opportunity to continue on its ambitious agenda for economic recovery

Zambian Trade and Industry Minister Chipoka Mulenga said the recent edition of the Agricultural and Commercial Show gave the country an opportunity to continue on its ambitious agenda for economic recovery.

Mulenga said this year’s agricultural show would provide a platform for enhancing business and market linkages across all sectors of the economy. The theme of this year’s show is Inclusive Economic Transformation. The show gave an opportunity to not only to learn from one another as the country continued on the ambitious agenda for economic recovery. It also helps the country to introspect on what the country was doing to ensure that the economic growth and development agenda is more focused on inclusive growth.

The Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show has been organised since 1919. The Society is a member of the Royal Agricultural Societies of the Commonwealth (RASC) and Events and Exhibition of Southern Africa (EXSA). The Show is being held on 2- 7 August 2023 providing a platform for sector industries to put on display various designs and innovations. The highlights of the show are trade exhibitions, entertainment and recreation, and agricultural and commercial exhibits.
