The World Bank has released a new report reviewing the progress of its strategic partnership with Egypt under the 2023–2027 Country Partnership Framework (CPF). It is designed to support the government’s efforts to achieve sustainable economic development through concessional financing, technical assistance, and diagnostic reports.

The report underscored Egypt’s position as the third-largest contributor to the World Bank in the Middle East and North Africa. Since the beginning of cooperation in 1959, more than 201 projects with a total value of USD 27.5 billion have been financed in sectors ranging from infrastructure and healthcare to education and economic reforms.
