Woolworths Holdings Limited, the South African multinational retail company has announced its partnership agreement with logistics company Pargo that offers its customers another reliable delivery option. The objective of the partnership is to strengthen its online delivery network and offer its customers more choice and convenience when shopping online.
In a statement, the retailer said that customers now have the convenience to shop its entire products including fashion, beauty and homeware range online with an option to collect their orders at Pargo click-and-collect pickup points. The pilot project will be initially launched in the Western Cape, which has over 250 Pargo pickup locations. The service will only be available on its website during the pilot.
Customers who decide to choose Pargo Pick-up option and their preferred pick-up point will receive an email notification with a five-digit code to retrieve the parcel by presenting their ID within eight days.
Liz Hillock, director of online and mobile at Woolworths said that Parcel pick up is expected to bolster the company’s value proposition by offering customers convenient solutions that suit their individual lifestyles.
