The UN Secretary-General António Guterres visited South Africa. This is his first visit to South Africa since he assumed the presidency of the G20. While speaking to the media, he made a clarion call for climate justice.

 António Guterres highlighted that Africa, with its youthful and expanding population, vibrant cultural and natural diversity, and strong entrepreneurial spirit, is hindered by injustices stemming from its colonial past.
