Almost all of the products used on Uganda Airlines are Ugandan, from food, and alcohol and even some of the uniforms are Ugandan-made.

Jeniffer Bamuturaki, the chief executive officer of Uganda Airlines, has said the company has invested more than Shs 120 billion in supporting Ugandan businesses that supply the airlines with locally manufactured products. Bamutaraki made these remarks at the suppliers’ forum held last week at Mestil Hotel.

She said that almost all of the products used on Uganda Airlines are Ugandan, from food, and alcohol and even some of our uniforms are Ugandan-made.
She urged people who supply Uganda Airlines with products to always maintain the consistency and quality of the products supplied to the airline.

She pointed out that the forum is providing avenues and opportunities to Ugandans to supply the best-quality products and most of the suppliers of Uganda Airlines have complied with the packaging and other standards set by the airlines.
