Egyptian exports to Cyprus saw substantial growth, reaching USD 193 million in 2024, up from USD 103 million in 2023. On the other hand, Egypt’s imports from Cyprus experienced an even more dramatic surge, climbing to USD 134 million in 2024 from just USD 12 million in 2023.
The volume of trade between Egypt and Cyprus reached US$327 million in 2024, compared to US$115 million in 2023, according to data released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

Among the top Egyptian exports to Cyprus in 2024, iron and steel led the way with US$98 million, followed by fertilizers at USD 45 million. Other notable exports included paper (USD 9 million) and plastics (USD 7 million). Conversely, Egypt’s top imports from Cyprus were primarily mineral fuels and oils, amounting to USD 124 million.
