Trade between Egypt and Malaysia looks up

·        Trade exchanges between Egypt and Malaysia added to US$503 million during 2020, Minister of Industry, Nevine Gamea, said in a statement

·        The list of imported and exported goods between the two markets included vegetables, fruits, herbs, spices, phosphates, fertilizers, chemicals, palm oil, petroleum and mineral oils, rubber and some types of yarn

·        Malaysian investments in Egypt are estimated at US$60 million, distributed among 26 companies and are in the fields of oil, gas, electricity, contracting, trade, tourism and information technology

Trade exchanges between Egypt and Malaysia added to US$503 million during 2020, Minister of Industry, Nevine Gamea, said in a statement.

The list of imported and exported goods between the two markets included vegetables, fruits, herbs, spices, phosphates, fertilizers, chemicals, palm oil, petroleum and mineral oils, rubber and some types of yarn.

Nevine Gamea, yesterday (Wednesday)  met the Malaysian Minister of Agricultural Industries and Commodities, Mohamed Khair El-Din Bin Aman, and  the accompanying delegation, which is currently visiting Egypt. The two sides discussed ways of cooperation between the Egyptian and Malaysian sides at various levels.
