  • Tigo Tanzania recently signed a lease agreement with the Public Service Social Security Fund (PSSSF) for the telecommunications company to merge and relocate its offices. The company will get shifted from Derm Complex to a larger facility  at the PSSSF Commercial Complex

Tigo Tanzania recently signed a lease agreement with the Public Service Social Security Fund (PSSSF) for the telecommunications company to merge and relocate its offices. The company will get shifted  from Derm Complex to a larger facility  at the PSSSF Commercial Complex.

A  telecommunication company in Tanzania., Tigo  has  over 13.5 million registered subscribers, It  directly and indirectly, employs over 300,000 Tanzanians including customer service representatives, mobile money merchants, sales agents and distributors. The company  is the biggest commercial brand of Millicom, an international company trading in 12 countries with commercial operations in Africa and Latin America and corporate offices in Europe and the USA.

The merged entity MIC Tanzania PLC (Tigo and Zantel) will be located at the PSSSF Commercial Complex. The merger is another significant milestone coming after Axian Telecom acquired the merged entity MIC Tanzania PLC (Tigo and Zantel).

The new office space will accommodate the merged teams to create a sense of unity and belonging to enable the merged entity to continue focusing on designing and developing state-of- the-art products and services. The relocation is expected to be effective towards the end of 2022,
