Leading global technology firms such as AWS, Google, Cisco, HPE, CheckPoint, and Fortinet have confirmed their participation in the Connected Africa Summit 2025, reinforcing the event’s position as Africa’s premier platform for advancing digital transformation.
Scheduled for May 26–29, 2025, at the Diamond Leisure Resort & Spa in Diani, Kenya, the summit is organized by the Ministry of Information, Communications, and the Digital Economy in collaboration with the ICT Authority of Kenya. This year’s theme, “The Digital Journey: Vision to Reality,” emphasizes moving from strategy to actionable digital solutions, including green energy innovations.
“The industry’s support is both an endorsement and a challenge to accelerate progress,” said ICT Authority CEO Stanley Kamanguya. He highlighted that the involvement of major tech players signals a commitment to real collaboration with governments, innovators, and users across Africa.

The four-day event will feature high-level discussions, policy exchanges, and sector-focused sessions covering AI, cybersecurity, fintech, healthtech, cloud infrastructure, and digital governance. Highlights include an Innovation Village showcasing local solutions, a Smart Government Zone spotlighting digital public projects, and networking opportunities aimed at fostering partnerships and investment.
With over 2,000 participants expected from the public and private sectors, the Connected Africa Summit 2025 is set to be a key milestone in the continent’s digital evolution.
