While addressing the CCM members in Bukoba Municipal Council, Ally flagged the government’s commitment to rehabilitating and expanding several airports, including Bukoba Airport and building a new ship in Mwanza. This, he said, would attract investment opportunities, including from foreign investors.

Referring to the need for boosting agricultural production in the country, Dr Ally underscored the need for massive private sector involvement. He assured that Tanzania would become a middle-income economy by 2025. The electricity generation in the country would be hiked to meet the pending demand and to pave the way for faster industrial development.
