Tanzania will host the 13th Annual Africa Food Systems Forum (AGRF) from September 5 to 9 this year at the Julius Nyerere International Conference Center in Dar es Salaam.

Minister for Agriculture, Hussein Bashe said that more than 3000 participants are expected to be in the forum, including stakeholders in the world’s agricultural sector, development investors, financial institutions, researchers, agricultural traders, large farmers, and governmental leaders.

Tanzania got the opportunity to host the forum after its successful participation in a competition to organize the major agricultural event in Africa, (AGRF). The minister invited all Tanzanians to participate in the forum. In March this year, President Samia Suluhu Hassan officially launched Africa’s Food System Forum 2023 to advance the agriculture and food systems agenda on the continent.
