The Tanzanians have expressed satisfaction at the current state of the economy as the country has  celebrated the anniversary of 60 years of  independence celebration. A parade was organized in the capital city of Dar es Salaam to coincide with the event.

Tanzania  has been  relatively conflict free  except for the skirmish that they had with Uganda in the old days. Tanzania has achieved independence from the British. Since then the country has been on a development path.

The specially organized function to coincide with the grand event was attended by East African heads of state, including Kenya’s Uhuru Kenyatta, Rwanda’s Paul Kagame,  Mozambique’s President Filipe Nyusi and DR Congo’s Prime Minister, Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde.
