The Suez Canal Authority (SCA) has signed a vision exchange agreement with Oman Integrated Logistics Services to enhance cooperation in maritime operations and logistics services. The agreement outlines potential areas of collaboration, focusing on training, ship repair, and maintenance.It aims to leverage the extensive expertise of the SCA’s shipyards and companies and the advanced training capabilities of the Suez Canal Maritime Training and Simulation Academy.

General Osama Rabie, Chairman of the SCA, emphasized the authority’s commitment to transforming into a regional hub for logistics services. This initiative has led to new maritime services, including fuel supply, crew changes, and maritime ambulance services.

Rabie also highlighted efforts to improve ship maintenance and repair services, provide technical support during emergencies, and strengthen partnerships across maritime and logistics sectors to enhance vessel transit experiences.
