Rwandair to resume flights to India

The national carrier of Rwanda temporarily cancelled its flights to Mumbai in July and Entebbe in May. The flights were suspended to India and Uganda due to the spike in coronavirus cases in both countries.

The Airlines has now announced its plans to resume flights to Uganda and India. Yvonne Makolo, CEO of Rwandair in a press briefing has announced that flights to Entebbe, Uganda are scheduled to resume in a week and flights to Mumbai will follow restart by the end of September. He informed the local media that the Airlines is working on the formalities to commence the flights.

 Rwandair used to have six flights per week to Entebbe and four flights to Mumbai, via Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania.
