 The Tunisian security source commented on the postponement, saying the issue is linked to the Libyan side that closed the crossing since last March due to an internal matter, and the decision to reopen it remains linked to Libya as well

 Movement at the Ras Ajdair border crossing between Libya and Tunisia will remain limited to urgent humanitarian, health and diplomatic cases. The  crossing was opened recently to traveler traffic. Both countries announced  the restoration of its full activity.

This came while the official Facebook page of the Libyan Ministry of the Interior deleted an invitation to the media to attend the reopening ceremony of the crossing.

The Tunisian security source commented on the postponement, saying the issue is linked to the Libyan side that closed the crossing since last March due to an internal matter, and the decision to reopen it remains linked to Libya as well.

The visit of an official Tunisian delegation that was expected to arrive at the crossing on Monday to supervise with its Libyan counterpart the process of completely reopening it was postponed, after it was opened partially on June 13.
