Movement at the Ras Ajdair border crossing between Libya and Tunisia will remain limited to urgent humanitarian, health and diplomatic cases. The crossing was opened recently to traveler traffic. Both countries announced the restoration of its full activity.
This came while the official Facebook page of the Libyan Ministry of the Interior deleted an invitation to the media to attend the reopening ceremony of the crossing.

The visit of an official Tunisian delegation that was expected to arrive at the crossing on Monday to supervise with its Libyan counterpart the process of completely reopening it was postponed, after it was opened partially on June 13.

The complete reopening of the border was previously postponed for the second time last Thursday to complete some procedures, according to what the Ministry of Interior said.
