A key preparatory meeting has brought together high-ranking industry officials and the chairpersons of various organizational subcommittees to lay the groundwork for the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025). Scheduled to take place at the Palais des Expositions des Pins Maritimes in Algiers, Algeria, the event is poised to be a landmark gathering in the African trade and investment calendar.
The upcoming trade fair is expected to feature more than 2,000 exhibitors and draw over 35,000 participants, including buyers, investors, and government representatives, from more than 140 countries around the world. It promises to serve as a dynamic platform for showcasing African products, services, and investment opportunities.
Recognized as the continent’s flagship event for intra-African commerce, IATF 2025 plays a central role in advancing the objectives of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). The event will foster economic integration and is projected to facilitate trade and investment deals exceeding $44 billion in value.

The organization of IATF 2025 is being led by Afreximbank, in close collaboration with the AfCFTA Secretariat and the African Union Commission, and is hosted in partnership with the government of Algeria. The fair will bring together a diverse mix of large corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), financial institutions, policymakers, and industry leaders. Participants will have the opportunity to explore new markets, form strategic partnerships, and contribute to the broader goal of boosting intra-African trade and economic development.
