Pittsburgh based American company PPG has opened its first Africa automotive sealants production facility in Tangier, northern Morocco. Roald Johannsen, PPG vice president, automotive coatings, Europe, Middle East and Africa stated that the plant will boost local supply for automotive original equipment (OEM) vehicle manufacturers in Morocco. The company proposes to open two more production facilities by 2030”, added Johannsen.

PPG’s Tangier facility is also assessing the local production of additional adhesive, sealant and coatings technologies to supply vehicle manufacturers that are expanding production in Morocco.
