Optimism Grows in Morocco’s Non-Financial Services Sector for Q3 2025, Despite Challenges in Hospitality

(3 Minutes Read)

Morocco’s non-financial market services sector is showing a strong sense of optimism heading into the third quarter of 2025, according to the latest quarterly business survey released by the High Commission for Planning (HCP). The report highlights a positive business climate, with 41% of sector leaders expecting growth in overall activity and 37% forecasting stable conditions.

This optimistic sentiment is primarily driven by projected growth across several key service areas. The HCP identifies air transport, land transport and pipeline services, warehousing and auxiliary transport services, as well as rental and leasing activities as sectors poised for notable expansion in Q3. These upward trends are contributing significantly to the overall confidence in the market.

In terms of demand, the outlook remains largely stable but with a positive lean. Approximately 47% of surveyed business leaders anticipate steady demand, while 38% foresee an increase. This expected demand growth is further supporting the generally upbeat business sentiment.

Employment conditions in the sector are also showing encouraging signs. The majority of executives—54%—expect workforce levels to remain unchanged, while 26% predict an increase in hiring, suggesting a moderate yet stable job market within the sector.

Despite the largely positive projections, the report does highlight ongoing challenges in specific industries. The accommodation and restaurant services, along with postal and courier activities, are expected to face declining activity during the quarter. These areas continue to grapple with slower demand recovery and operational difficulties, tempering the otherwise optimistic outlook.

Overall, the findings of the HCP’s quarterly survey suggest that while certain segments of the non-financial market services sector remain under pressure, broad-based growth and employment stability are likely to define the business environment in Q3 2025.
