The project, implemented in partnership with Resilience, the Zambeze Valley Development Agency (ADVZ), and the Manica Economic Development Agency (ADEM), will benefit over 227,000 individuals residing in the Beira Corridor.
The Embassy of the Netherlands and a consortium led by TecnoServe, a non-governmental organization operating in Mozambique through the “Manguana” program, will provide over 30 million euros in the next four years to improve food systems and nutritional security in the “Beira Corridor.”
It was revealed by the program director, Barbora de Oliveira. He emphasized that the project, implemented in partnership with Resilience, the Zambeze Valley Development Agency (ADVZ), and the Manica Economic Development Agency (ADEM), will benefit over 227,000 individuals residing in the Beira Corridor.

In addition, program will also help 45,000 small farmers in the region to increase their incomes and progress toward stable earnings. Over 15,000 women from small farmer families will progressively improve their capacity to act by being empowered to make economic choices. The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the consortium partners are actively involved in the implementation of the project.
