He said that both parties have responded positively to the facilitator and expressed a willingness to continue negotiations, while conceding that the timeline has not been met. The roadmap in the Declaration of Principles was signed on 19 July in Qatar. The negotiations were to begin by 8 August, with a final deal reached by Monday.
