The Namibian Oncology Centre North (NOC North) and Medical Imaging plan to invest a combined N$150 million in two new private healthcare centres to be built in Ongwediva.

Construction of the oncology and diagnostic centres is set to begin shortly after a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for July 2025. Both facilities are expected to open by August 2026.

Medical Imaging is investing approximately N$80 million in its new diagnostic facility, which will offer MRI, CT scans, X-rays, ultrasound, and mammography services. The centre is expected to serve up to 100 patients a day.
