From July 2nd to 4th, 2025, Windhoek, Namibia, will host the 10th Anniversary of the Leaders Without Borders Annual Business Summit & International Session—a high-profile gathering of global business leaders, policymakers, and visionaries. Organised by the Leaders Without Borders Development Centre (LWBDC), this milestone event will catalyse advancing trade facilitation and unveiling diverse investment opportunities across the African continent.

Held under the theme “Expunging Trade Barriers in Africa – Exploring the Continent’s Diverse Investment Opportunities,” the summit aligns with the goals of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), aiming to boost intra-African trade by over 50% through reduced tariffs and streamlined regulations. The discussions will focus on dismantling structural barriers to commerce and unlocking inclusive economic growth across Africa.

Attendees will include top-level executives, influential family business leaders, policymakers, and senior government officials from across Africa and beyond. Key sectors represented will span FinTech, PropTech, InfoTech, financial markets, agribusiness, infrastructure, mining, and renewable energy.

A major highlight of the summit will be the debut of the “Top 50 Emerging Businesses in Africa”—an esteemed recognition program honouring resilient, innovative enterprises that have operated for at least three years. These businesses exemplify impact, scalability, and alignment with international standards, reflecting the continent’s growing entrepreneurial momentum and its projected 3.8% growth in 2025 (IMF).

The event reinforces LWBDC’s mission to foster cross-border collaboration and provide an accessible global platform for enterprise development. Over the past decade, the Centre has worked with more than 60 international partners to drive bilateral and multilateral business engagement through investment forums and trade initiatives.

Beyond its celebratory significance, the summit will offer dynamic B2B matchmaking sessions, curated investment opportunities, and strategic panels focused on economic transformation, tech disruption, and evolving regulatory landscapes.
