Ambassador of Namibia to Mozambique and Zimbabwe Niklaas Kandjii visited the Confederation of Economic Associations (CTA) of Mozambique and expressed Namibia’s interest in strengthening trade relations and promoting exchanges between businesses from both countries. He highlighted the fisheries sector as one with the potential for cooperation.
The diplomat raised the possibility of holding a joint Mozambique-Namibia business fair. That would be a forum to mobilize Namibian investors to tap business opportunities in Mozambique, he added.

The chairman of the CTA made a brief presentation of the forthcoming Private Sector Annual Conference (CASP), its components, and the advantages of participating in the event. The event is billed as the largest public-private dialogue and business discussion platform in Mozambique. He said that the dialogue between the two countries would help in sharing information about each other’s potential and capabilities.
