Mozambique’s Ruling Party Chief Avows to Carryout People-Friendly Policies

When introducing the party’s ‘Number 2,’ Daniel Chapo asked for the cooperation of party workers, whom he considered essential to the newly elected secretary general’s ability to lead the party and fully respond to the trust placed in him by the members of the Central Committee.

Frelimo’s new secretary general, Chakil Aboobacar, reiterated his commitment to strengthening the party’s operations, intending to serve Mozambicans with unity and cohesion. Chaki Aboobacar took up the challenge again after being introduced to party employees by Frelimo president Daniel Chapo at the national headquarters. The new secretary-general was elected last week during the 3rd Extraordinary Session of the Frelimo Central Committee.
