Mozambique to launch aggressive Indsutrialization Program

Mozambique’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC)  has launch of its ‘National Program to Industrialize the country ’ in Chimoio, Manica province. The presidential initiative   to be implemented as 2020-2024 Five-Year Program, aims to increase national industrial production, using local raw materials mostly. This will help in stimulating production and commercialization and employment generation.

A  Manica business and investment roundtable between Mozambique and the United Kingdom will take place simultaneously under the motto ‘Developing Manica, through investments, industrialization and exports. The roundtable will reflect on commercial transactions between Mozambique and the UK.

The event also will showcase the opportunities of the Economic Partnership Agreements (EPA) between Mozambique and the countries of the Southern African Customs Union with the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. The launch of the ‘Buy What is Ours’ project, and support Female Entrepreneurship (SADC WIB) will also form part of the event.  All three events will be held in a hybrid format.
