Restaurants in hotels in Mozambique can continue to serve hotel guests after 6:00 p.m. as a measure of relaxation. This was stated by INAE General Inspector Rita Freitas during a webinar with the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA) recently. She was talking about the new measures implemented under the State of Public Calamity decree.
But, Rita Freitas insisted that while serving the general public, hotel restaurants must observe the 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. operating hours as applicable to other establishments.
Rita Freitas also clarified that the measure applies to tourist establishments with the Clean & Secure Seal. This is a certificate indicating that the hotel is in compliance with Covid-19 health protocols granted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism
