This is the first batch of a total of one hundred and fifty tons of medical gas that Zimbabwe will donate to HCB, as announced by the clinical director of the health facility, Ana Tambo.

Beira Central Hospital in Sofala received around twenty thousand liters of medical oxygen recently, donated by Zimbabwe. The donation comes in response to a request made by President Filipe Nyusi to his Zimbabwean counterpart to address the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

This is the first batch of a total of one hundred and fifty tons of medical gas that Zimbabwe will donate to HCB, as announced by the clinical director of the health facility, Ana Tambo.

Ana Tambo explained that the medical oxygen arrived at a good time and will be used for patients hospitalized in all wards, with a focus on the operating theater and emergency services.
