One of the main aims of organizing this event is to create objective conditions for closer relations to establish business and investment partnerships between Ukrainian and Mozambican entrepreneurs, said Agostinho Vuma.

Businesspeople from Mozambique and Ukraine intend to share experiences in the agricultural sector and deepen cooperation following a meeting in Maputo recently, which discussed methods to enhance businesses between the two countries.

Highlighting the agribusiness and agro-industry sectors as the focus of the round table taking place in Maputo, the president of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique pointed out Ukraine’s strengths in agricultural production and its industrial processing capacity, mentioning its ‘already consolidated’ agro-processing industry.

‘One of the main aims of organizing this event is to create objective conditions for closer relations to establish business and investment partnerships between Ukrainian and Mozambican entrepreneurs,’ said Agostinho Vuma.

On the occasion, Ukraine also put on the agenda for talks with Mozambican businesspeople about the sharing of information about the Global Peace Summit in that country, which will take place in Switzerland on 15 and 16 June. It added that nuclear, food security, and humanitarian needs are among the main focuses of the summit.
