Ennagas, the authoritative operator of the Spanish gas network reports that during the current month, Spain’s gas exports to Morocco via the Tarifa gas pipeline reached 880 GWh, marking a sevenfold rise from the 123 GWh recorded in September 2022.

Spanning the period from October 2022 to September 2023, the cumulative natural gas imports from Spain to Morocco amounted to 8,664 GWh, as per the most recent statistical report released by Ennagas.
It’s essential to note that while this increase is significant, Algeria continues to maintain its position as Spain’s primary supplier of both natural gas and liquefied natural gas, followed by the United States and Russia, according to the same source.
