Moroccans are reeling under the onslaught of the price spiral, which has kept essential items like fruits, vegetables, bread, and meat beyond the reach of people.  Ordinary people complain that the price spiral was to the extent of two times in recent months and is still ticking.  According to the government data, inflation accelerated to 8.9% in January, up from 6.6% in December last year.
