North African country Morocco will make investments in the logistics sector of Ethiopia. Towards this, Tanger Med Special Agency (TMSA), a Moroccan state-owned enterprise, having expertise in terminal and logistics business, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) for investment in the logistics sector

Towards this, Tanger Med Special Agency (TMSA), a Moroccan state-owned enterprise, having expertise in terminal and logistics business, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH) for investment in the logistics sector.

Mamo Mihretu, CEO of EIH along with his team visited the company and held a discussion on investment partnership opportunities in the development and operation of Ethiopian dry ports and logistics services.

Tanger Med is a global logistics gateway located on the Strait of Gibraltar.  The most advantageous port is connected to more than 180 ports worldwide. Ethiopia is the second most populous country on the African continent with 115 million inhabitants. It is also one of the poorest regions in the country.
