OCP Nutricrops has officially surpassed a significant production milestone, over five million tonnes of Triple Super Phosphate (TSP) fertilizer demonstrating the company’s ongoing leadership in sustainable and customized agriculture. This achievement is credited to its comprehensive TSP Hub program, which operates from the Jorf Lasfar industrial complex, a key part of the OCP Group’s global fertilizer strategy.
According to a press release issued, the TSP Hub is a strategic initiative managed by the Manufacturing Strategic Business Unit (SBU), in close collaboration with OCP Nutricrops, OFAS, and JESA. The program forms an integral component of OCP’s broader sustainability agenda, particularly through its innovative use of unconventional water sources, reinforcing its environmental commitments.
TSP (Triple Super Phosphate) is a highly concentrated phosphate-based fertilizer, containing more than 90% of its phosphorus content in a form readily accessible to plants. This makes it especially effective for improving nutrient-deficient soils and supporting precision agriculture practices. The high nutrient availability aligns well with modern farming approaches that prioritize tailored and efficient fertilization.
OCP Nutricrops emphasized that the TSP Hub plays a crucial role in addressing the evolving and specific needs of global agriculture. The program enables the production of fertilizers customized to various soil types and crop requirements, making it a central tool in responding to the increasing demand for specialized agricultural inputs.
The facility leverages an advanced and flexible manufacturing process that allows for the precise incorporation of nutrients and additives. This modularity provides the industrial agility needed to swiftly develop and produce new formulations that meet diverse and rapidly changing agricultural demands.
Currently, the TSP Hub consists of two high-capacity production lines, each capable of producing 500,000 tonnes of fertilizer annually, giving the site a total output potential of one million tonnes per year.

In addition to celebrating this production milestone, OCP Nutricrops also announced a new and forward-looking project aimed at adapting its infrastructure to enhance nitrogen fertilizer production. This initiative includes the integration of new equipment and modifications to existing systems, further expanding the facility’s capacity to produce TSP efficiently.
