The Canadian company Stellar AfricaGold Inc. has announced that it has secured four new exploration permits for gold mining in Morocco. Accordingly, the Canadian company will expand operations in Tichka, at approximately 80 kilometers south-southwest of Marrakech.
The Canadian exploration company and the Moroccan National Office of Hydrocarbons and Mines (ONHYM) have already signed an exploration agreement on August 18, 2020. This will be an addendum to the earlier agreement. As part of its plans to upgrade the exploitation of its natural resources, four new exploration permits annexing to the initial Tichka-Est Gold Project have been granted to the Canadian company. With the additional permits, the company’s total number of licenses in Morocco has gone up to seven, covering an exploration area of 82 square kilometers in the Tichka Est Gold Project, located in the High Atlas Mountains.
The stellar spokesman said that two of the four additional permits are strategically located. The company is expected to begin exploring the four new permits without delay.
The Canadian company has presence in gold mining in Quebec and West Africa.
