According to political observers the signing of the four Memoranda of Understanding will strengthen bilateral relations and the legal framework of the partnership between Morocco and Malawi. The Moroccan foreign minister hailed it as a roadmap of cooperation for the years to come. Morocco has also raised the number of scholarship grants to students from Malawi in both academic institutes and vocational training centers to reach 100 per year.
Both the countries also agreed to relaunch an integrated cooperation project in the field of agriculture and also collaborate in renewable energies, particularly solar energy. youth and sports is another area for increased collaboration between the two counties.
