Morocco and Libya Sign Protocol on Fisheries and Aquaculture

The signing took place on the sidelines of the 7th edition of ‘‘Halieutis’’ the international exhibition of fisheries techniques held from 6-9 February in Agadir Morocco.‎

Libya’s Ministry of Marine Resources reported yesterday that a cooperation protocol in the field of fisheries and aquaculture was signed on the same day between the Minister of Marine Resources, Adel Sultan, and the Moroccan Secretary of State in charge of Fisheries, Zakia Dariouche, in the Moroccan city of Agadir.

The signing took place on the sidelines of the 7th edition of ‘‘Halieutis’’ the international exhibition of fisheries techniques held from 6-9 February in Agadir Morocco.‎ The Ministry reports that the protocol reflects the will of the two countries to deepen cooperation in the fields of knowledge exchange and experiences by focusing on training, specialized training, research, and advanced scientific studies that enhance the ability to achieve sustainable development in the maritime sector.‎
