Mauritius is one of the highest per capita income countries in Africa thanks to its well-crafted development plans.it is built on a combination of factors like political stability, a strong institutional framework, favorable regulatory environment and open trade policies. The Island nation is now a well-diversified and broad-based economy as compared to its monocrop economy decades ago, depending mainly on sugarcane. Panel discussions on various subjects are being organized at the event to showcase the investment potential of the Island nation, which will be participated by an assortment of government officials, foreign investors, local industrialists etc. Mauritius is amongst the top 15 countries in the world for doing business. Its per capita income is comparable even to the developed countries.
