The government has allowed executives returning to England from 4am on Saturday would not have to go into quarantine even if they have come back from a country on the Government’s ‘red list. The government sources feel that this would help attract more tourists to the island nation.
The government also allowed performing arts professionals, TV production staff, journalists and recently signed elite sports persons’ not to be in self-isolation from this This move drew a furious response from Labour, for categorizing people for applying quarantine rules.
