Parliament representative of Tarhuna, Abu Bakr Saeed, presented his credentials recently as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Libya to Bulgaria at the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry’s HQ in the capital Sofia.
A statement by Libya’s Foreign Ministry said that after the ceremony, Saeed met with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Tidora Jenchovska and conveyed the greetings of the Presidential Council Head, Muhammad Menfi, the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdel Hamid Dbeibah, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Najlaa Al-Manqoush.
Ambassador Saeed expressed during his meeting with Jenchovska and her deputy his aspiration to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries.

In turn, the Bulgarian Foreign Minister welcomed the new Libyan ambassador, wishing him success in his duties.
