Libya’s state National Oil Corporation (NOC) reported that test results for two wells after treatment revealed prospects for mining 3,333 barrels of oil and 9 million cubic feet of gas production per day.
The operations were conducted by the NOC’s subsidiary, Mellitah Oil and Gas Company, which succeeded in carrying out intervention operations without a rig for two wells in the Abu Attifel field.

The treatment of the wells involved removing lime deposits, re-perforating, and adding holes to the producing area of well A-71. The NOC said this comes in the implementation of the corporation’s strategic plan to increase production.
