Kenyan Cabinet Secretary in Washington DC: Held Talks with Blinken

Kenya has been a poster boy of the US and a key ally in promoting democratic norms across the country.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met  Kenyan Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi at the State Department recently in Washington DC. Both leaders discussed the longstanding strategic partnership between the two countries and ways in which they could be taken forward.

Blinken said that Kenya was a democratic partner and looked forward to working together on bilateral issues and opportunities to address regional and global challenges. Mudavadi extended greetings from Kenyan President William Ruto and echoed Blinken’s remarks on discussing consolidating the partnership between the United States and Kenya.
