Kenya Airways has suspended ticketing services in Malawi over the latter’s foreign exchange crisis.  Malawi is facing acute shortages of foreign exchange currency forcing traders to halt or suspend some of their operations in Malawi.

In the given situation, the ticketing authority of Kenyan Airways has suspended the issuance of tickets to Malawi until further notice. This will be applicable to all agents.

Malawi has been facing a forex crisis for months. Kenya Airlines join Ethiopian Airlines which also suspended ticketing services in Malawi over the forex crisis.
