Italy’s foreign minister Luigi Di Maio said that his country has formally asked WFP (World Food Programme) and the United Nations (UN) to open an investigation into the recent death of the Italian Ambassador to Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
As reported by www.trendsnafrica.com Ambassador of Italy to Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) was killed in Goma, eastern part of DRC the other day. He died alongside an Italian soldier after their car was attacked while travelling in a UN convoy in the eastern part of the country .Italy’s Prime Minister Mario Draghi has put out a statement expressing his condolences to the families of the Italian ambassador and the soldier.
