In May this year, Libya’s Ministry of Industry and Minerals and the Italian Ministry of Companies and Industry signed a Joint Statement on the desire of the two parties to enhance cooperation between the two countries
The Libyan-Italian Chamber of Commerce announced that it had received in Tripoli a group of Italian companies in the fields of recycling of various kinds, restaurant supplies, hotels, air freight, and hydroponics.
The companies held several meetings with Libyan counterparts in various disciplines, including a visit to Al-Jaid Company for Food Industries and Al-Sahel Holding Group, where, the Libyan-Italian Chamber said, the attendees praised the importance of holding these bilateral meetings and the smoothness of procedures and good coordination and reception.

It may be recalled that in May this year, Libya’s Ministry of Industry and Minerals and the Italian Ministry of Companies and Industry signed a Joint Statement on the desire of the two parties to enhance cooperation between the two countries. The joint statement highlighted the need for enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of using renewable energies and green hydrogen. It also provided for facilitating all procedures for direct investments and joint initiatives between Libyan and Italian companies. This had taken place on the sidelines of the Libya International Conference on Industry and Technology in Tripoli (20-21 May).
