The Institute of Risk Management (IRM) has appointed Dorothy Maseke as joint deputy chair of its global board. Her vast domain expertise and leadership skills will be instrumental in promoting excellence in risk management education worldwide, IRM said in a press statement.
The board also appointed Mariam Crichton and Esther Chesterman as independent directors. With 17 and 25 years of experience, respectively. They will be responsible for improving the IRM’s credibility and governance standards. Additionally, they will play a watchdog role to ensure that the company complies with all regulatory requirements.
Chesterman will also serve as the chair of the awarding committee responsible for ensuring compliance with the general conditions of recognition as stipulated by Ofqual. Additionally, she will drive the development of new and regulated qualifications.
