The Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein will be sending a diplomatic delegation to Libya as urged by the Iraqi community in the country.
The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that this visit will be part of continuous efforts to build partnerships with Iraqi national institutions and authorities and the Libyan authorities.
The ministry said that an Iraqi diplomatic delegation held several dialogues with representatives of the Iraqi community in Libya. Their requirements are mostly related to providing passports and work to enhance the response in consular work.

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the delegation of the community included university professors, doctors and people with various professions. Iraqis residing in Libya have diverse requirements including setting up a consular office, acquisition of Iraqi passports etc. identification of missing people who were in Libya during the violence etc.
